Overview
Here's a revised version of your text, with spelling and grammar corrections, as well as some improvements for better readability:
---
My passion for jazz music stemmed from listening to "Years Apart" and "Spirit Of Django" by Martin Taylor. The music written and arranged on those albums was beyond inspirational to me at the age of 10 and sparked my affection for gypsy jazz.
While in secondary school and college, I was unable to find musicians with similar interests. Finally, at university, I met the "dream team." Since forming the band in 2011, my "Django Project" has performed at various venues and events, including the 7Arts Center, Ilkley Jazz Festival, and The Lescar in Sheffield, to much acclaim. We received a Jazz Yorkshire (now Jazz North) award and acknowledgment from Martin Taylor himself.

"I really enjoyed the YouTube clip of you and your band playing Pure Imagination - sounded great."
— Martin Taylor MBE (in reference to Ben Lowman’s Django Project).
Over the past few years, some members of the band have unfortunately moved to study and work elsewhere in the country. Despite this, other fantastic musicians have stepped in to fill their places. Members of the band have included:
- Kate Peters (Vocals)
- Jonny Faull (Soprano Sax)
- Andy Cox (Alto Sax)
- Ben Lowman (Tenor Sax)
- Russ Henderson (Baritone Sax)
- Jamie Taylor (Guitar)
- Sam Dunn (Guitar)
- Simon Read (Upright Bass)
- Steve Hanley (Drums)
Below is an older clip of my "Django Project" performing an arrangement of "Pure Imagination," as well as a sax soli I wrote for "Secret Love."
