What Can I Help With?
Frequently Asked Questions
What instruments do you repair?
I service and repair saxophones, clarinets and flutes, from student models through to professional instruments.
Do you provide repair estimates?
Yes. Instruments are assessed before work begins and quotations are provided where appropriate. No additional work is carried out without your approval.
How long will my repair take?
Turnaround times depend on the work required. Minor adjustments can often be completed quickly, while larger repairs and overhauls may take longer. Estimated timescales will be discussed before work begins.
My instrument isn’t playing properly. Should I book a repair?
Yes. Even small issues such as sticking pads, leaks, noisy keys or regulation problems can affect playing significantly. If you’re unsure, get in touch and I’ll be happy to advise.
Do you repair student instruments?
Yes. I regularly work on both student and professional instruments and can advise on the most cost-effective repair options.
How do I arrange a repair?
Simply get in touch using the contact form or by phone. We’ll discuss the problem and arrange a suitable time for assessment.
